Web design and creating web mini apps are the icing on the cake for me. They allow me to combine graphic design, motion design, and mathematical thinking into a single creative discipline.

I started designing websites in the early 2000s, learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the basics of PHP from scratch. As HTML5 and CSS3 emerged, browser support evolved rapidly and often changed. At the time, I found it increasingly difficult to optimize websites using various hacks required to bridge older and newer standards. I eventually stepped away from web development.

Only with the rise of artificial intelligence did I return to web design. Once I realized that AI could help me write code, I was able to revive and build upon my previous knowledge of web technologies and standards.
